Officials at Mohawk Liquidation will be handing over the keys to their building to the Tyendinaga Band Council later this week. After years of legal wrangling…and, numerous court decisions….including a decision by the Supreme Court of Canada…..the end is near. The popular business on Highway-2 will be closing its doors at 5pm on Thursday. It’s not clear what the Band Council intends to do with the building….however, Chief R Donald Maracle has said they may put the property up for sale.
