Council will possibly hold back its grant to the Brighton YMCA after it was learned the Y won’t be offering day camps this summer. Councillor Brian Ostrander told the Committee of the Whole, last night, the cost of operating day camps may have to be picked up by the municipality. According to Councillor Craig Kerr, Lower Trent Conservation camps have the capacity to double their normal enrolment. Staff will investigate various options for Brigjton youth.
