The town of Bancroft just doesn’t seem to have any interest in having community members on the Quinte Health Care Community Advisory Committee.
Thirty-three of the first 36 members have been named, and there have been three vacancies for representation from the Bancroft community for several months.
Q-H-C official Susan Rowe says town council has been asked to help in finding community members, but there has been no response. Another 18 members of the 54-member committee will be chosen by a selection committee next Tuesday, but it isn’t known if, or when three community representatives from Bancroft will join the group.
