The owner of Boulevard Cinemas in Napanee has won a 45-thousand-dollar federal grant to produce a documentary featuring people who’ve attempted suicide.
Paul Peterson calls taking one’s life the most intimate act that most people would ever do, and he is fascinated with the subject. He will interview people who have survived near-fatal suicide attempts.
The National Film Board gave Peterson the money for the project, which he calls “The Next Day.”
