East Northumberland Secondary School in Brighton is letting the public know tonight about fundraising for a new state-of-the-art track and field facility.
The Public School Board has agreed to give 140-thousand dollars of the 850-thousand needed, and the municipality will match any pledges up to 200-thousand dollars. The goal is to break ground in the spring of next year, with the field ready for action a year later.
The information and fundraising session runs from 6-30 to 8-30 at the King Edward Park Community Centre.
