Both men charged with the murder of a Trenton woman on the weekend made their first court appearances in Belleville yesterday. 30-year old Jason Frost entered the courtroom first….in shackles and wearing an orange hoodie and blue pyjama pants….49-year-old Michael Garniss later appeared and both were remanded in custody until another video appearance on Thursday. 48-year-old Lisa Marie Palmiere, also known as Lisa Todd, was shot at her home on Sidney street in Trenton Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, OPP divers searched the Trent River near the bridge in Frankford for several hours yesterday. OPP Sgt. Kristine Rae would only say that the divers were working on the Lisa Marie Palmiere murder case.
