Some new civilian jobs with the Northumberland O-P-P are headed to Campbellford.
Trent Hills will become the host municipality of a county-enhanced police civilian data entry system. C-A-O Mike Rutter told council the six part time workers will enter information supplied by officers on patrol, allowing police more time on the road.
All Northumberland municipalities with contracts with the O-P-P have agreed to be part of the new system.
