We haven’t had much of it this winter but a fresh blanket of heavy wet snow awaits you this morning in Quinte. The CFB Trenton Weather office reports 5.1cm of snow fell at the base overnight. The system skirting the area won’t bring much significant accumulation today and anything that does fall will likely be a mix of rain and snow. but, staff Meteorologist Kevin Williams says a bigger storm is on the way for Thursday and Friday. Significant accumulation could be on the ground by late Friday.
