The Ontario Health Coalition will make a stop in the Quinte Area during its series of public hearings on the future of rural and northern hospitals.
The Coalition says small hospitals are closing across the province, and the work of the government panel set up to review health care in non-urban areas has been shrouded in mystery.
The provide wide consultations will start on March 4th, with the coalition holding a public open house at the Picton town hall on the 24th. The Friends of Prince Edward County Health Services supports the coalition’s agenda.
