The Belleville Public Library Board has hired a former senior manager at the Toronto Public Library as the Belleville Library’s new C-E-O.
Lesley Bell had over ten years experience in senior management positions at the Toronto library, the largest public library system in North America. Board chair Barry Brown says she has a proven record in leadership innovation, organizational design, and project and team management.
Bell, who recently moved when her husband accepte a new job in Kingston, fills the position left vacant by the firing of Marc Gagnon last September.
