In the wake of recent turmoil on the base… The City of Quinte West is holding a Military Appreciation Rally this morning at Bain park in Trenton at 10pm.
The rally will include a march from the park down Highway 2… to the gates of the base.
Quinte West O-P-P are asking motorists to avoid the area until this afternoon… as there will be lane restrictions.
For those who are attending the rally… there will be parking on the North West Corner of Old Highway 2 and R-C-A-F road.
