People came from across the Quinte region to show support for the troops at C-F-B Trenton on Saturday. About 1,500 supporters joined the Rally set up by the City of Quinte West. They marched to the parade square on base where members of the military mingled with the crowd. Quinte West Mayor John Williams and Base Commander Colonel Dave Cochrane addressed the crowd. They were pleased at the number of people who came out to show support, followng the arrest last week of the former base commander Colonel Russell Williams.
