Two major snowmobile accidents in the Bancroft area.
A 60-year-old man received serious leg injuries when his snowmobile hit a tree as he was descending a steep hill. He was travelling in a group and other riders rescued him. In the second accident a snowmobiler was travelng alone when his machine struck a tree. He suffered serious injuries. No names have been released.
