Toronto cold case investigators are taking a closer look at two 27-year-old unsolved murders and whether Colonel Russell Williams may be connected to them..
Erin Gilmour and Susan Tice were sexually assaulted and murdered within 4 months of each another, in downtown Toronto in 1983, and D-N-A revealed both women had been killed by the same man.
Gilmour’s brother, Sean McCowan, told Global News he called Detective Sergeant Steve Ryan of the Toronto Police Cold Case Squad. Ryan mentioned the Colonel is a person of interest and Polie are going to take a look at it. Williams graduated with a degree in economics and political science from the University of Toronto in 1987.
