The two sides battling over whether a Belleville property will get an adult entertainment licence have almost another seven weeks to get ready to present their arguments.
The Ontario Municipal Board has set March 24th for a board hearing at City Hall into an appeal by the mother of the two men trying to operate such a facility at the former Doc’s Palace on Station Street.
Maria Moniz filed the appeal last month. Carlos and Robert Moniz’s application for the licence was denied late last year when Belleville Council adopted an interim bylaw that froze strip clubs in the city.
