It is still early in the new year, but Brighton’s Chief Building Official is already optimistic about 2010.
Rick Jones says building permits for four new houses worth 936-thousand dollars were issued last month. There were no new houses in the first month of 2009.
Jones says he hopes building activity in Brighton will pick up after going through a bit of a slump last year.
