The Mayor of Trent Hills says Crowe Bridge Park, which has been closed to the public since 2007, could open this summer.
That was the message Hector Macmillan gave the annual meeting of the Campbellford-Seymour Agricultural Society. He said senior staff at the municipality and the Crowe Valley Conservation Authority have been holding regular discussions on how the park, northeast of Campbellford, can once again be made available for public use.
The authority closed the park three years ago, saying it could no longer afford to operate it.
