Belleville wants to get a step ahead in its planning for the future development at its western boundary that could accommodate about six-thousand people in the future. Last night the city’s Planning Committee received a draft of the Potter Creek Master Drainage Plan. Director of Development Rod Bovay says this will help the city decide where and what stormwater facilites are needed as the Loyalist Secondary Plan becomes developed. He says its easier to have the drainage problems dealt with ahead of time. Bovay says four landowners may have to have stormwater facilities on their land in the area.
