Eight local organizations providing services to our most vulnerable residents will benefit from a provincial funding announcement today. The aim is to create 450-jobs provincewide and improve facilities at local non-for-profit agencies. Kerry’s Place Autism Services in Stirling, Roslin and Thomasburgh gets the largest chunk at 99-thousand dollars. Alternatives for Women in Prince Edward, Madoc COPE, the CAS in Prince Edward, Pathways to Independance, Maggies Resource Centre, Counselling Services of Belleville and District and North Hastings Community Integration also received funding. MPP Leona Dombrowsky says the investment helps support our most vulnerable including children, youth and families in our community.
