A new location and new funding for the Quinte Regional Science Fair.
The event, which has been held each spring for a number of years at Quinte Mall, has announced new partnerships with Loyalist College and the Belleville Kiwanis Club.
This year’s fair will be held in late March at Loyalist, and fair co-chair Chris Spencer says the outstanding facilities will allow students to showcase their efforts in an appropriate setting. The Kiwanians have also pledged five-thousand dollars to pay to send a competition winner to the Canada Wide Science Fair, and to support a special presentation at the local fair by science promoter and entertainer Alan Nursall.
