A nightmarish accident killed a 37 year old Mother in Bayside around 8 o’clock this morning.
Quinte West OPP say Robin Lafee was standing along highway 2, at Bayview Drive, watching kids board a school bus, when she was hit, and instantly killed, by a pick up truck driven by a 46 year old man from Trenton.
No one else was injured. Quinte West OPP have released few details except to say that alcohol was NOT a factor in the crash.
Callers to our newsroom say Robin Lafee had one daughter.
