The Quinte Economic Development Commission has lined up Canada’s former Chief of Defence Staff for an Industry Appreciation lunch next month.
C-E-O Chris King says the board was told at its meeting yesterday the guest speaker at the February 19th event will be General Rick Hillier. The lunch will be held at the R-C-A-F Museum at C-F-B Trenton.
King says the meeting is an opportunity for the Q-E-D-C to thank industries for what they contribute to the local community.
