A major flooding at Belleville’s eastern boundary has caused one councillor to call for more action in the area. Councillor Jackie Denyes told city council last night that residents of the Aiport Parkway area have been patient for the past five years and C-N rail has not kept the ditches clear in the area. Director of Environmental and Operational services Brad Wilson says a major review is needed…not just talks with CN-rail about its ditches…. Wilson says built-up lands to the south may be causing trhe problem as well. Airport Parkway remains closed as water up to 12 inches high runs across it. Only local traffic is being let through
