It should be a perfect day for a sled dog race. The annual Eldorado Gold Cup Sled Dog races take place today in Madoc Township. Organizer Sandra Hannah is expecting a good field; including defending champ Rene Marshallton out of South River near Sudbury. The 50-mile event starts at 9:30 at the Madoc Township building on Highway-62. Other events include the Little Nippers race, Roast Beef Dinner and live entertainment.
