As of Monday, February first the Distracted Driving Laws also know as the “Cell Phone Ban” will officially take affect; phasing out the educational period that began in October. During the educational period Provincial Police throughout Ontario issued 64 charges and 3 thousand 260 warnings. Beginning February first people who continue to use hand held devices while driving will be issued a fine of 155 dollars.
