A Quinte West man is charged with cutting down someone else’s trees.
Prince Edward O-P-P got a complaint on Monday from a resident on County Road Eleven, near Cherry Valley, about someone chopping down trees without permission. However, the man had left when police arrived.
The man returned yesterday, and resumed cutting trees, and police arrested 36-year-old Raymond Renout of Murray Ward. He is charged with theft and mischief, and will appear in court in late February.
