There hasn’t exactly been an overwhelming response to Prince Edward County’s online budget 2010 survey.
Treasurer James Hepburn says only 13 people have filled out and submitted the survey, which has been on the county website for almost two months. The county is asking six questions on the survey, including the possibility of service cuts to avoid a tax increase.
Hepburn says the surveys will be received until February 26th. Council set a 66-million-dollar capital budget last month, and work on the operational part of the budget will begin on February second, with final approval expected in late March.
