Local musicians will band together later this month in support of the Haiti relief effort. Rock for Relief-2…in conjuction with the Canadian Red Cross…will take place at the Empire Theatre on Saturday, January 30th. Bands slated to perform include All You Need is Love, Photograph, Big Black Smoke, The Remedy, The Far Side, The Matt Smith Trio and Freddy Vette. A similar event raised thousands of dollars for the Tsunami relief effort in 2005. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at the Empire Box office.
