A public meeting next Monday about the proposed bounty on coyotes in Prince Edward County.
Belleville Fish and Game Club Director Roger Hales says the county’s Bylaw Enforcement Officer will explain council wants to take action because the animals are killing livestock, deer and pets.
A county-sponsored bounty would pay hunters a fee for each coyote they kill. The meeting starts at the Fish and Game Club on Elmwood Drive at 7-30 on Monday night.
