Outbreaks have been reported at three nursing homes in Northumberland County.
Health Unit spokesperson Dianne Dingman says there is one enteric and two respiratory outbreaks, and measures are being taken to stop them from spreading..
Dingman didn’t say how many residents and staff are sick, and which long term care facilities are affected.
There are no visitor restrictions, although people arriving at the homes are asked not to enter if they have been ill.
