A two-alarm fire broke out at Jim Harrison’s farm on Harrison Road, northwest of Trenton, at midnight Sunday night, killing five calves and one cow.
Firefighters from Murray and Batawa attended, and the large structure collapsed shortly after they arrived. Fire Chief John Whalen says the electrical panel is the likely cause, and the damage estimate is 80-thousand dollars.
