It wouldn’t be a municipal election year in Quinte West if Claude Rolland Du-lude wasn’t running for Mayor.
C-A-O Gary Dyke says Du-lude filed his nomation papers at City Hall yesterday. He has run unsuccessfully for Mayor in all four Quinte West elections since 1997, and tried twice before that in the former city of Trenton.
Potential candidates for the elections, to be held in late October, have until September tenth to file their papers.. The filing fee for challenging a council or school board seat is 100 dollars. The fee for anyone running for Mayor is 200 dollars.
