The Ontario Municipal Board has ruled on the state of ward boundaries in Prince Edward County.
Boundaries will stay the same for the time being, following a ruling against changing the boundaries – an appeal launched by two County citizens last year.
An OMB member made the ruling after a 9-day hearing which ended Christmas eve.
County officials say stakeholders will have a chance to vote on the ward boundaries issue when it’s presented on the ballot in the October municipal election.
