Stirling Rawdon Council has heard enough on the policing issue. At Council last night, Mayor Peter Kooistra said that Council would accept no more delegations on policing. Mayor Kooistra said the issue was tearing the community apart, and that Council has made it’s decision and will stick with it. The Mayor said Council has spent enough time on policing. Meanwhile, resident Wayne Martin, in a written statement, says he might consider legal action after statements made about him in the media by Stirling Rawdon Police Chief Brian Foley. And, another resident, Ron Reid, said he might complain to the Province about Council, and the Police Board’s handling of the issue.
