Coyotes have struck again, killing two more dogs in Belleville.
Animal Control Officer Ron Pierce says two small dogs were grabbed by the animals on Oakwood Lane and Kipling Drive last week. Another family pet was killed in the city’s east end two weeks ago..
Pierce says he believes there is a pair of coyotes in the new subdivision in Cannifton, and dog and cat owners shouldn’t leave their animals outside alone. Coyotes also recently killed a dog in Newburgh, northeast of Napanee .
