The new elementary school to be built in Castleton will be called Northumberland Hills Public School.
Kawartha-Pine Ridge School Board trustees voted last night to accept the title recommended by a school naming committee.
It was one of 49 entries submitted in a recent call for possible school names.
Northumberland Hills will replace the current Castleton and South Cramahe Public Schools after they close.
