Reducing the number of deer and cormorants drew the most attention into the new Resource Managment Plan at Presqu’ile Provincial Park in Brighton. Public comments were received until December eleventh by Ontario Parks, with eleven submissions arriving at the Kingston office. Presqu’ile Superintendent Tom Mates says there were also some comments about the consultation process and the ten-year time frame for other projects. The concerns will be forwarded to the Environment Ministry requesting an individual environmental assessment under the environmental assessment act.
