It will be a large gathering when officials meet to improve railway safety in Brighton early in the New Year. Councillor Dave Cutler suggested at last night’s meeting that Transport Canada, CN and CP Police, the OPP and the consultant hired by the town should attend the meeting. Brighton Council voted unanimously at its meeting last week to abandon the idea of a costly overpass or underpass at the Prince Edward Street crossing.
