Paramedics in Ontario will be making some direct input into any future studies in their area of health services….thanks to the work of the Hastings-Quinte Emergency Services. Director Doug Socha is head of a new committee of a provincial association of emergency services. He says paramedics are the experts in the pre-hospital environment, and should be instrumental in getting ideas in that area. Socha says he is “excited” by this work… the first in Canada to involve the paramedics in direct research.
