Prince Edward County Council has approved a 66-million dollar 2010 capital budget.
Corporate Services and Finance Commissioner Susan Turnbull says the amount given the green light yesterday includes 29-million dollars for the Picton sewage treatment plant, 5.6-million for Picton’s water treatment facility, 12-million dollars for the Wellington Community Centre, and road and bridge work.
Council will resume its budget meetings in early February, starting work on the operational part of the budget.
