Another wind park is planned for Prince Edward County, this one south of Consecon.
Wind Works Corporation has filed power contract applications for eight wind energy projects across Ontario, including a 20 megawatt park near Pleasant Bay. The company has a 50 per cent interest in the project, but has the option of increasing that to 100 per cent.
The Ontario Power Authority is expected to reply to the applications by the end of January.
There are believed to be about ten wind farm proposals on the books in Prince Edward.
