Over 100 employees will be laid off for a while at the Norampac paper mill in Trenton.
Business is very slow, and the workers will be off the job starting next week. It’s hoped they’ll be back to work before the middle of January.
Meanwhile, there have been big changes in the mill’s management. Norampac, Trenton’s mill manager, J.J. Davis, and his right hand man, Doug Beamer, were both let go recently.
They have not been replaced.
