It is a big bite out of the drug trade in the Napanee area.
The O-P-P’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau Drug Enforcement Unit made undercover purchases in Napanee, Odessa and Deseronto between May and this month, seizing 56-thousand dollars worth of cocaine, crack cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana and other drugs.
Search warrants were executed on Monday and yesterday, with officers arresting 23 people, and issuing eight arrest warrants. Over 170 charges were laid. Some of the 23 will appear in court today for a bail hearing.
