A Campbellford man, one of six people charged with living in a cottage they don’t own near Haliburton has made a Youtube video explaining their religious reasons for staying there.
Victor Beck and the five others were charged by the O-P-P with being unlawfully in a dwelling house after they were found in the summer home on November tenth.
The Youtube video features Beck explaining how spiritual economics revolve around the premise God created humans with the right to food and shelter an no personal cost, so anything for sale doesn’t have to be bought.
Charges of shoplifting from a grocery store in Minden were dropped, but the six will be back in court in January on the cottage-related charges.
