The train has left the station….and so has any talk of a Brighton railway overpass or underpass. Brighton Council decided unanimously, last night, to abandon the idea of a grade separation at the Prince Edward Street crossing. Mayor Chris Herrington says a future council could dust off the Environmental Study report….but, any plans for a grade separation likely won’t be back before council in the next 20-years.
