It could be the biggest crowd Picton has ever seen. Final details are being ironed out for a spectacular Olympic Torch Run Community Celebration in Picton on Tuesday, December 15th. There should be a big crowd out for the entertainment. For starters, there’ll be over 2 thousand school kids from County, and other schools. And Commissioner of Recreation, Parks, and Culture, Barry Braun, says seniors from several seniors residences have been invited. And, Quinte Access will provide transportation. Everyone is invited to the celebration at the Prince Edward Community Center in Picton, but for those that can’t make it, it will be live on the internet through Loyalist Colleges website: http://loyalisttv.com.
