A 16-year-old Trent Hills girl has been charged with stealing a van in the Havelock area.
Peterborough County O-P-P responded to the incident on Baker Road early last evening, and a vehicle, matching the description of the van, was spoted in Norwood a short time later.
Officers were in a brief pursuit which ended when the vehicle struck a concrete train trestle support and rolled into a small creek.
A female driver and a passenger were arrested at the scene, checked by paramedics and returned to police custody. The third occupant, a male youth, fled the scene on foot but was later arrested at his home.
The driver, a 16 year old from Trent Hills, has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property and a Highway Traffic Act offence.
