It won’t be a very merry Christmas for workers at Invar Manufacturing in Batawa..
Parent company Linamar Corporation says the plant, which has been producing steering housing, energy, and recreational components, will be shut down over the next two months.
The 134 employees were told this morning.
The parts maker says the closure does not affect Linamar’s other Ontario plants where new business continues to be won and production levels are rising.
