A Belleville homeowner will likely hire a different contractor next time. City Police say the west-end resident reported the theft of a DVD player after hiring a contractor to complete some work on her home. The DVD player was found at a local Pawn Shop and the investigation revealed an employee was responsible. A 22 year old Belleville man faces a theft charge and appears in court next month.
