There have been three appeals to the Ontario Municipal Board about a new service road to a gravel pit south of Rednersville.
Bernie Finkelstein of County Road 23 says the road to Gore Road, which will be used to haul gravel from a nearby pit, is being built as far away from two new severed properties as is possible, and too close to his property, and he is also concerned about more noise from truck traffic.
The property severances were aproved by the Prince Edward County Planning Public Council in late October.
He and the other appelants, Elizabeth Gerritts and David Forrester claim they were never informed about the service road being part of the severance before the planning meeting. No date has yet been set by the O-M-B to consider the appeals.
